Sam:

Hi. I dont remember seeing this message or answering it.
I think this is the first time i have seen it. So sorry for that.

That group is basically sold now.

In any case,  I think here is what you are asking: How old is a 20 inch animal and when is it old enough to breed?

A 20 in. animal is between 4 and 5 years old.

The females lay eggs at 18 years old, typically they are between 29 and 32 inches.

A 26 inch animal might be between 9 and 12 years old.

18 year old females might be from 29 to 32 inches; a male would be bigger.

That is the basic rule of have established but there are many factors that affect the size to age ratio.

If an animal is raised up north, where they spend more time inside because of weather, they can be much older then their size reveals.

However, these animals typically have some form of leg problems.
A lot has to do with proper care and diet.

And as you can see, it opens up a very long conversation.

Let me know if I have helped or hindered.

Sam
