Spur Thigh Tortoise African Spur Tortoise - {Geochelone sulcata} 
These guys are much bigger then hatchlings which are only around 2 ½ inches. 
Because of their age and size these animals are a safer bet over a hatchling. 

Bright eyed alert, active and eating. 

Sex is determined by years of experience looking at the physical differences. 
Not all 4” animals can be sexed and they are sold as undetermined at $125.00 
Sex is not guaranteed but we have a high percentage of accuracy. 

These are third generation animals hatched on my farm here in Sunny South Florida. 
They are well adapted to this environment, eating great and growing fast.
