The Azul Line represents a carefully developed lineage of Cyclura lewisi, bred with a strong focus on preserving the highest possible genetic purity available in the United States today. Due to the limited number of historically pure individuals—and the loss of the last known 100% pure male, “Benny”—breeding efforts have necessarily centered around pairing the highest-percentage animals to maintain and refine this bloodline.

This line originates from select high-percentage pairings that were specifically chosen to produce offspring as close as possible to the original lineage. From those efforts, I acquired foundational animals and have continued to breed and refine this group with the same standards in mind. The result is what I refer to as my Azul Line—a consistent, high-quality representation of these genetics.

The 2024 hatchlings offered here are the product of that ongoing program. These animals are not part of my standard availability, as the majority are retained to further strengthen my breeding group. However, on a limited basis, select individuals or pairs may be made available to serious keepers who understand and value the importance of maintaining high-percentage Cyclura lewisi.
